What is the Birth Chart?
When studying the Birth Chart it is taken into account, according to the date, time and geographical position at the time of birth; the position of the planets, signs, stars, among others. And a deep analysis of the interactions between these elements is carried out.
This helps us to know, for example, personality traits, favorable/unfavorable situations, auspicious life stages or our spiritual inclinations in order to have a broader panorama regarding our development in life.

Influence of the Planets
Each Planet has unique qualities and energies and their movements create forces that influence our daily lives. The exact position of each planet at the time of birth is closely related to our personality. Each planet has its strengths and weaknesses according to their locations on the chart. If a planet is in a strengthened position in the Natal Chart, then the qualities of that planet will be strong in the life of that person, the opposite will happen if the planet is in a weakened position.
The Sun, for example, governs the Self, self-confidence, self-esteem, power, authority, paternalism, sight, etc. If the planet is in a beneficial position on the chart, the person will tend to flourish in these areas.
What are the differences between Vedic and Western Astrology?
Perhaps one of the most surprising aspects of Jyotish is that the Signs of the people can differ from those of the Western Chart. In Vedic Astrology the Sun enters as a new Sign on the 15th, instead of 21st-22nd as in the West. So unless you were born between the 15th and 22nd of the month, your Sun Sign changes to the previous Zodiac Sign. Vedic Astrology is based on the Sidereal Zodiac rather than the Vernal Zodiac of Western Astrology.
Western (Vernal) Astrology is based on time, determining the beginning of the Zodiac corresponding to the beginning of the Spring Equinox. While Vedic (Sidereal) Astrology uses the observable stars fixed in the sky and constellations, in this way not only the influence of the planets is taken into account but also the subtle influences exerted by the constellations.
Reading your Natal Chart is like having a good map of the paths in your life, which can guide us to make the most appropriate decisions. One of the benefits of Jyotish is that it gives us the opportunity to better understand ourselves and life experiences in a more complete sense. An experienced Vedic Astrologer can accurately describe a person's character, personality, inclinations, talents, and areas of success. Among other things, he can also help us choose an appropriate career or partner and help prepare us to overcome obstacles.
